What is Plant to Plastic® by Emerald Ecovations?

Our Plant to Plastic® solutions may look and feel like traditional plastic but they are VERY different. 

Traditional plastics are derived from the distillation and polymerization of nonrenewable petroleum reserves (ie Petrol oil).

We make our Plant to Plastic® products with PLA, a material derived from renewable resources like corn starch, sugarcane, or PHA, a material made from the fermentation of feedstock. 

PLA and PHA are fully compostable, biodegradable and are naturally BPA free, fluorocarbon free, and certified USDA bio-based.
